Eric Stewart was born on January 20, 1945 in Manchester, England.
Eric acquired his first guitar at the age of 14 and immediately joined a band which included Vic Steele (later of the Hollies), and they became the Emperors of Rhythm.
Eric was Strawberry Studios resident engineer and session musician, and it was within Strawberry that 10cc was born.
