Erik Trolle (died 1530), elected regent of Sweden, under the Kalmar Union, in 1512. He was Lord Justice of Nericia and a member of the Privy Council of Sweden from 1487.

Erik Trolle was born around 1460 and was apparently aiming at a clerical career. He studied at the universities of Rostock and Cologne, had positions as Canon in Uppsala and Link�ping but was never ordained. He married the wealthy Ingeborg Filipsdotter (Tott) and settled on her manor Ekholmen in Uplandia.

Trolle was elected regent (riksf�rest�ndare) at the meeting of the Privy Council of Sweden in 1512, but never actually took office.
