A neighbourhood in the city of Toronto, it is located in the north western corner of the city, in close proximity to Pearson Airport and Highway 427. This large neighbourhood includes several niche neighbourhoods including West Deane Park and Centenial Park.
Of historical interest to the Centenial Park area was always Hirons farm, which was the last refuge of the old way of life in downtown Toronto up until almost 1970. Once the Hirons farm shut down it was the end of the good old days for this neighbourhood. The variety of income levels and housing types and values ensures that this will remain a very multi cultural neighbourhood, which is one of the commonalities of the city of Toronto's many neighbourhoods.
West Deane Park is also an area that was once rich in farmland. As the Mimico creek runs through this neighbourhood it is as diverse in wildlife as people.
