Ernie Godden was the heart and soul of the Windsor Spitfires during the late 70's early 80's. He was a rare combination of toughness, and goal scoring. In fact he set the ohl record for most goals(86) in a season which still stands as of 2005. Though smallish in stature, he played with the heart of a lion. Born in Keswick, Ontario, Godden played junior B with the Newmarket Flyers before joining the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.
In addition to his brief tenure in Toronto, Godden spent his first three years as a top scorer in the CHL with the Cincinnati Tigers and the AHL's St. Catharines Saints.
Godden played one year with Klagenfurter of Germany before retiring in 1985.
Ernie regularly runs courses in mixed media, watercolours and pastels.
Morning coffee, a light lunch and afternoon tea are included in the course fee of £30.
How much water to use, how to blend colours with each other, judging drying times, the behaviour of certain colours, how to respond to colours running — whether to control or leave them alone etc etc.
