The Estadio Nemesio Díez / La Bombonera , one of the oldest soccer stadiums in Mexico, having capacity for near 40,000 seats and built in old English stadium style, is located in the city of Toluca, Estado de México, very near Mexico City. This sport facility is used mostly for soccer games and is the home of the Club Toluca Because of its location this stadium has hosted two World Cups (1970 and 1986). One oddity of this facility is that does not have any lighting system and the local team as a tradition must play with sun light. The striker (wearing red jersey) has run past the defender (in white jersey) and is about to take a shot at the goal, while the goalkeeper positions himself to stop the ball. ...
