The Estadio Victoria is so-called because a very famous beer brand (Victoria). Is one of the newest Mexican stadiums, was opened in 2003. This facility have a capacity of 20,000 seats and is located in the City of Aguascalientes. This sport facility is used mostly for soccer games and is the home of the team Necaxa (lightings), a soccer club that used to play in Mexico City.

Estadio Victoria is sports stadium located in the Mexican city of Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes.
The stadium is multi-use capable but mostly used for soccer games and is the home-stadium of the Necaxa Soccer club which had previously played in Mexico City (at the Estadio Azteca) before relocating to Aguascalientes and Estadio Victoria.
The stadium is named Estadio Victoria (which translates to Victoria Stadium in English) because Victoria Lager, a leading brand of beer brewed by Grupo Modelo, is the main sponsor of the stadium.
