Tejat Prior is a halfregular variable of the type Mue Kephei, whose brightness likes with one period of 235 days between +3,24 and likes +3.96 varies. Tejat Prior is 250 light-years a red giant of the spectral type M3 distant from the sun. Tejat Prior can as eclipticnear star of the moon and (very rarely!) by planets to be covered. The last coverage of Tejat Prior by a planet took place on July 27th, 1910 via the planet Venus, the next to last on July 11th, 1837 via Mercury.
