Ethan Hurd is an animator. He worked on such films as Toy Story 2, Shrek, Shrek 2 and Madagascar. He learned how to animate at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).

Ethan’s father, Joseph Allen, was born October 14th, 1708, the son of Samuel Allen and his wife, Mercy Wright, and grandson of Nehemiah Allen, who moved from Windsor, Connecticut, with his mother, Ann Allen, widow of Samuel, to North Hampton, Massachusetts.
Ethan was the fourth generation from Samuel Allen of Windsor and Northhampton, and Dr. Allen the fifth.
Ethan was finally exchanged on May 3, 1778, for a Col. Campbell, after having been confined to the provost-jail in New York since the 26th of August.
