Eunice Yoon is CNN International’s business correspondent. Based at the network’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong, she is responsible for reporting financial and business news across the Asia-Pacific region. CNN International is an English language television network available in most of the world, distributed via satellite and cable. ...


Yoon started her broadcast television career chasing tornadoes and police cars for CBS affiliate KTVS-TV3 in northeastern Colorado before packing her bags to work in Asia. She moved first to Seoul, South Korea, where she reported for a number of organizations including Voice of America, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and CNBC Asia Pacific. She later joined CNBC Asia Pacific’s morning news team, anchoring “CNBC Today” out of Singapore before splitting her time behind the desk and in the field. Yoon has reported extensively throughout the region, covering the financial crisis of 1997, the SARS outbreak, Asia’s recovery from the Indian Ocean tsunami, and China’s rapid economic development. At CNN, she manned the anchor desk during the 2004 tsunami and the 2005 Kashmir earthquake. CBS (an abbreviation for Columbia Broadcasting System, the former legal name of the network) is one of the largest television networks, and formerly one of the largest radio networks, in the United States. ...
