Evening is a 2007 drama ensemble film based on the novel by Susan Minot. Minot and Michael Cunningham co-wrote the screenplay. The film was produced by Jeff Sharp and co-produced by Luke Parker Bowles. The story is about a dying woman who reflects on the time in her youth when she met the love of her life as her two daughters wrestle with their mother's impending death and their own personal issues. This film is rated PG-13 for some thematic elements, sexual material, a brief accident scene, and language. The film premiered on June 29, 2007. Informally, the evening is the period in which the daylight is decreasing, between the late afternoon and night; it extends from the latter portion of the daylight (before sunset) until dark (after sunset). ...
