A rather controversial and equivocal music video for "Everytime I Die" was recorded by Finnish director Tuukka Temonen which features the band performing and shows in parallel Alexi Laiho singing the song whilst blindfolded and tied up on a bed. The video ends with Laiho being brutally killed by the reaper. The worldwide release of the video added considerably to the song's and the band's popularity.
