Encyclopedia > Ewart Plimmer

Ewart Plimmer was one of the original characters in the BBC series Casualty. Ewart was the original consultant. During his three years in the show Ewart demonstrated a a dedication to the job which cost him his marriage and his relationship with his daughter. Ultimately he died in the third season after his second heart attack.


Ewart was played by Bernard Gallagher.
