FC Dallas is a professional American soccer club based in Dallas, Texas that participates in Major League Soccer. The club was known as the Dallas Burn from 1996 to 2004. The initials "FC" stand for Football Club. In August 2005, the club moved into Pizza Hut Park, a soccer-specific stadium in the northern suburb of Frisco. Before then, it had played at the Cotton Bowl since their inception except in 2003, which was spent at Dragon Stadium in Southlake.
