Steaua Bucureşti: Information from Answers.com (2854 words)
FC Steaua Bucureşti is a Romanian football club based at Ghencea Stadium, Bucharest, Romania.
Steaua won the European Champions Cup final played on May 7 1986 against FC Barcelona at the Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Seville, after a penalty shoot-out.
The name "Steaua" is Romanian for The Star and was adopted because of the presence, just like in any other Eastern-European Army team, of a red star (turned yellow now, to symbolize Romania's tri-colour red, yellow and blue flag) on their badge.
