The FEMA Photo Library is an online gallery of photos compiled by the Federal Emergency Management Agency of the United States, containing approximately 13,000 disaster-related photographs taken since 1980. The majority of the collection is of declared disasters and there are also photographs from significiant public events that have occurred on or near the National Mall in Washington DC. Since August 30, 2005, 2,700 images have been added of the 2005 hurricane season – Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita being the most photographed storms.
