Flags of the World (or FOTW) is the Internet's largest website devoted to vexillology, containing comprehensive information about all kinds of flags. Currently it contains more than 28,000 pages about flags and more than 51,000 images of flags. There are several mirrors of the FOTW website. Main source for material on FOTW website are contributions to the FOTW mailing list, that currently has somewhat over 800 members. An editorial staff of unpaid volunteers manages and edits the site. The website is usually updated once a week with fresh material. Due to the high amount of material the editing might take some time, though, so that FOTW might contain outdated information.
