Where to collect fossils - Fairlight near Hastings, East Sussex (357 words)
Fairlight is near to Hastings, we accessed it from Pett Level, where there is a public car park and toilets.
After a while you will come to Fairlight Cove bay, where the cliffs have been so eroded by the sea, that huge rocks have been placed on the beach to protect the cliffs.
Walk along the shore on the sea side of the rocks and you may be lucky to see Iguanadon footprints on the beds of silty clay, that is if the sand and shingle have not covered them.
