Fairview is a village located in Belmont and Guernsey counties in Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 81.

Geography

Fairview is located at 40°3'25" North, 81°14'1" West (40.056951, -81.233665)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census² of 2000, there are 81 people, 26 households, and 21 families residing in the village. The population density is 74.5/km² (190.8/mi²). There are 35 housing units at an average density of 32.2/km² (82.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 26 households out of which 30.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.2% are married couples living together, 15.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.4% are non-families. 7.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 3.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.12 and the average family size is 3.41.
