The mall is presently undergoing major redevelopment which should be completed by summer 2007. This renovation includes a brand new food court and new interiors. The parking lot will also be refurbished. During construction, well preserved woolly mammoth remains were discovered beneath a section of the parking lot. Other discoveries made during the renovation include a 68 karat rose diamond, $8,246,900 in gold coins (inside of a wooden pirate's chest), a shrunken head, and a 647 pound meteorite.
