GreaterSudbury (2001 census population 155,219) is a city in Northern Ontario, Canada.
GreaterSudbury was created in 2001 by amalgamating the cities and towns of the Regional Municipality of Sudbury, along with several previously unincorporated geographic townships.
GreaterSudbury is home to three postsecondary institutions: Laurentian University, a bilingual university, Cambrian College, an English college of applied arts and technology, and Collège Boréal, a francophone college with additional campuses throughout Northern Ontario.
