One of the oldest and largest resort areas of Greece, Faliraki is known for its sandy beach and numerous watersport offerings, as well as numerous bars and nightclubs. As such, it is favored for holidays by younger visitors, particularly British youth. As with their counterparts on the Spanish island of Ibiza, the alleged debauchery of these tourists is a favourite subject of consternation on the part of British newspapers. In recent years it has recreated itself by promoting its lighter side making it a more international resort than it ever was.It still remains a 'young' resort but in no way resembling what it was in the earlier part of this decade.A new police station in the area maintains law and order at all times.

There are still wild rides for the adrenaline junkies like the sling shot, lively bars and clubs, plus the resort is home to one of the biggest water parks in Greece, so you certainly won’t be short of things to do.
