Far Beyond Driven by Pantera CD (765 words)
Immerse yourself in the first single off of FAR BEYOND DRIVEN, the thrashing "I'm Broken," and you'll get a good idea as to the method behind Pantera's madness--and what makes them such trendsetters in the thermonuclear epoch after heavy metal, speed metal and thrash have run their course.
The first couple of songs (Strength Beyond Strength thru I'm Broken) are flawless, but after this the quality slips, as songwriting is sacrificed for pure aggression and heaviness (I know some people like that, but not me).
Far beyond driven is probably my second favorite album they did.
