The Farmington Varsity Baseball team has won a share of the Missota Conference title in 2005 and 2006, this had not been accomplished since 1970. The Jones' twins, Carson and Tyler, were two of the catalyts in these conference victories, and since have gone on to play football and baseball at St. Olaf in Northfield, MN.
