FATAL (Originally short for Fantasy Adventure To Adult Lechery, but later changed to From Another Time, Another Land) is a tabletop role-playing game created by Byron Hall. The game is most well-known for what's commonly seen as excessive and often unrealistic depictions of rape, sexism, racism, and otherwise offensive behavior, though the game's developers vehemently defend their game's historical accuracy and realism. Nonetheless, the game has seen some small amount of simplification and reduction in offensive in its newer incarnations. For other definitions of fantasy, see fantasy (psychology). ... A much-circulated review deriding the game (Warning: offensive content)
Fatalism was present among the ancient Stoics, and it pervades much of the thought of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Islam.
Fatalism is in general the view which holds that all events in the history of the world, and, in particular, the actions and incidents which make up the story of each individual life, are determined by fate.
Fatalism in general has been inclined to overlook immediate antecedents and to dwell rather upon remote and external causes as the agency which somehow moulds the course of events.
