| The “Faucet Friend” changes color through the use of a thermochromic material on the body of the indicator, making use of the property of heat conduction to transmit the temperature change from the body of the faucet to the display on the “Faucet Friend”. |
| At the end of the faucet is an approximately half inch wide blue colored band, fitting around the entire circumference of the end of the faucet. |
