Background

Radio Fiza was the sixth of the original pilot Access Radio stations in the United Kingdom which paved to way for the full launch of community radio stations in 2005. The Asian Women's Project originally provided programming on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays between 1300-2100 hours and Sunday between 1200-2100 hours. The rest of the week consited of programming from the Karimia Institute which are now broadcasting as Dawn FM. Since 28 March 2006 97.1 has consisted solely of programming from the Asian Women's Project, who now broadcast as "Faza FM". Dawn FM is a community radio station in the United Kingdom. ...
