Dr. Dave Frederickson has been an avid historian and collector of ammunition. His interest in Federal Cartridge Company dates back to the 1960s, when Dr. Frederickson discussed Federal's history with some of its former presidents, Charles and William Horn and R.B. Ehlen. As time went on, Dr. Frederickson became a familiar face around the Federal plant. He began working with the museum as an outside historian and has specialized in Federal's ammunition and packaging history.
