The FemINist INitiative of Canada (FemINit-CA) is a Canadian national political organization with roots in the province of British Columbia. It was formed in September 2005, in response to the nationwide feedback to the announcement of the June 2005 registration of the provincial party, the FemINist INitiative of BC (FemINit-BC). Founded by a group of women living in poverty, the FemINist INitiative of BC (FemINit BC) is a political party that was registered in the province of British Columbia, Canada on June 22, 2005. ...


Its organizers are presently working toward having FemINit-CA achieve official party status.
