History

Fenerbahçe was founded in 1907 in the district of Kadikoy in Istanbul. The founders were Nurizade Ziya Songülen (the first president), Osmanli Bank employee Mr. Ayetullah and Naval School student Necip Okaner, together with Hasan Sami Kocameme and Asaf Baspinar known as "Hintli".
