Ferencváros, meaning Francis' Town, is a mostly industrial part of See Budapest (band) for the British melancholic post-grunge band. Budapest (pronounced BOO-dah-pesht, IPA ), the capital city of Hungary and the countrys principal political, industrial, commercial and transportation centre, has more than 1.7 million inhabitants, down from a mid-1980s peak of 2.07 million. It... Budapest, in district IX.


The name also refers to its football club, FTC, the fans of FTC prefer the district's name's translation as "Frankcity".


Among its sights are the new National Theatre ([1] (http://www.nemzetiszinhaz.hu/)) built in 2002, and next to it, the Palace of Arts, including the Concert Hall ([2] (http://www.muveszetekpalotaja.hu/)) built in 2004.
