Fetlock is the common name for the metacarpophalangeal and metatarsophalangeal joints (MCPJ and MTPJ) of the horse. It is formed by the junction of the third metacarpal (forelimb) or metatarsal (hindlimb) bones proximad and the proximal phalanx distad.
