Fey (born María Fernanda Blásquez Gil in Mexico City, July 21, 1973), is a Mexican pop singer that has been considered one of the best in the decade. After she debuted in 1995 with her CD Fey she was automatically placed as one of the best. Then the next year after launching Tierna la Noche, Fey's world turned upside down; her singles: Azucar Amargo, Te Pertenezco, Subidon and other songs, placed her on the top of the charts. In fact, Azucar Amargo lasted in the Billboard chart for more than 30 weeks. Then, after more than 8 months of absence, she returned in 1998.
