The Fiat Linea is a small family car to be released in 2007 by the Italian automaker Fiat in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Middle East. It will replace the aging Marea as the largest saloon in the Fiat range. It is based on a stretched version of the GM Gamma platform used in the Fiat Punto and Opel Corsasuperminis. The Linea's wheelbase is 2600 mm, 100 mm longer than in those two cars, and the total length is 4560 mm, or 500 mm more than them.
