Film Fun was a British comic book that ran from (issues dates) 17 January 1920 to 15 September 1962, when it merged with Buster. It had been renamed Film Fun Thrills in 1959. As the title suggests, the comic mainly featured comic strip versions of people from films, including:

Picture Fun merged with Film Fun soon after its launch in 1920, followed by Kinema Comic in 1932, Film Picture Stories in 1935, Illustrated Chips in 1953 and Top Spot in 1960.

In it, the author says, “Film-fun is a relatively old craft; the earliest materials used for film creations may have been shellac and spider-webs.
The book should contain brand names for the film to help you track it down if it is still made.

Film Fun was the "All star comic", with comic strips such as "Sid Field - the Famous Comedian" and "The Great George Formby - the famous laughter maker of the screen".
Film Fun issue 1 would be worth around £400 in near mint condition today.
During the war Film Fun found its way to Australia albeit a couple of months after its publication in the UK.
