A filtermask as set forth in claim 6, wherein said facial portion is configured to present a pocket oriented toward the nose and mouth of the wearer for receiving said filter element therein with said filter element positioned between the wearer's face and the facial portion.
The filter element is removably attached to the inside of the facial portion of the mask to be in direct contact with and conform around the nose and mouth of the wearer, thus causing the inhaled air to be drawn therethrough and filtered.
