Firbank Grammar is one of the leading independent girls' schools in Australia, situated in in Melbourne. It is an Anglican school, associated with the Anglican Church of Australia; it was founded in 1909 by Henry Lowther Clarke, Archbishop of Melbourne, as a day and boarding school. Melbourne is the capital and largest city of the state of Victoria, and the second largest city in Australia, with a population of 3,600,650 in the Melbourne metropolitan area (June 2004) and 52,118 in the City of Melbourne (which covers only the central city area). ...
