Fish Go Deep are an Irish production duo consisting of Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson. They have been releasing house records under this name since 2000 and in 2006 they reached number 1 on the dance chart with their track "The Cure & the Cause". The track featured vocals from Tracey Kelleher. These are The Official UK Charts Company UK Official Dance Chart number one hits of 2006. ...


The track originally missed the UK Top 75 but was re-released later in the year where it finally became a hit in the UK, peaking at 23.


Both Greg & Shane played an integral part in the emergence of house music in Cork City between the years of 1988 and 2001 as their well renowned "Sweat" night at Sir Henrys helped to attract a host of talent, such as Kerri Chandler, Arnold Jarvis, Laurant Garnier, DJ Deep, Jerome Sydenham, Roger Sanchez, Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, Cajmere, Gemini, Derrick May, Kevin Yost, Migs, Rasoul and Fred Everything to say just a few.


In recent years, Fish Go Deep tracks have been included on dozens of compilations, on labels in the US, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Ireland, South Africa and Asia.


As well as this, Fish Go Deep, along with fellow Cork Producer Mark O'Sullvian, set up Ork recordings in 2005. The label thus far has released singles such as ESL, Disco and Soul V.2, continuously recieving critical acclaim from such producers as Jimpster (Free Range Records) and Charles Webster (Miso Records).


Greg and Shane present "Go Deep", a weekly house music show on Cork's RedFM 104-106, on Friday nights from 9-11pm. Red FM is an Irish radio station which broadcasts to Cork and the surrounding area, and is aimed at a youth audience. ...


The Duo also entertain the Cork public with their "Go Deep" party every Saturday night in Fast Eddies nightclub, Tuckey Street, Cork.
