Fisher Stevens, born Steven Fisher, (November 27, 1963) in Chicago, Illinois is an American actor, living in New York City. He is probably best known for his portrayals of Chuck Fishman on Early Edition, Eugene "The Plague" Belford in Hackers, and Ben Jabituya in the Short Circuit and Ben Jahrvi in Short Circuit 2. His television credits include Frasier, Friends and Law & Order and will appear as Minkowski in season four of LOST. He also played the part of murderer Alex Brady in the Columbo episode "Murder, Smoke and Shadows". Stevens stopped issuing recordings in the mid-'60s (after issuing such further albums as From Me to You, The Hank Williams Song Book, and As Cricket), and focused primarily on acting, starring in such movies as Grease 2, Back to the Beach, and Tapeheads, among countless others.
Stevens felt she should be given a raise in 1962, and during the dispute with the studio she was placed on suspension.
Her cosmetics empire has made Stevens one of the wealthiest women in Hollywood, quite the achievement for a woman who was on the verge of bankruptcy in the mid 1980s.
