A relatively rocky beach at the ironically named Paradise Bay is one of the few tourist attractions in this area. Until recently, Fjellstrand had no sanitary sewer, which meant that all the sewage went straight out in the Oslofjord. Paradise Bay can be found near the end of the main street, Fjellstrandveien. Fjellstrandveien is also where the most famous and wealthy inhabitans of this village lives, with a splendid view over the Fjord. The childhood-home of the notorious former pornographic actor Sonny Big, is also to be found in this particular street.
