Flagler Beach was also a city for the sting operation "To Catch A Predator". This was a very contraversal desicion in the city due to parents being worried about kids saftly with Predators being captured only a few blocks away from their homes. Once the sting was completed, approximately 99% of the citizens were satisfied with the job well done by the Flagler Beach Police Department who have now started to get convictions for these arrests.
