FLAVA is a NZ radio station that targets the fast growing and powerful urban population of Aotearoa, playing the hottest HipHop and RnB tracks around! FLAVA has an awesome profile on the streets of Auckland, with ‘The FLAVA Unit’ street team cruising round in the FLAVA Hummer(H2).

Dave Fane (known as Dr Fane because his middle name is Rodney) is the other half of the Full Phat Breakfast. Since leaving the manger in a little town of Bethlehem, Dr Fane found his way to Auckland where he attended some of the finest schools in the area before being chased out of town. He then moved to Wellington and found his true love "Acting", and set about making a wonder career in tv, film and stage.

He created and is one of the members of the Naked Samoans, and is one of the writers and SEVEN of the voices in the Brotown series (Pepelo - the father, Mrs Tapili, Jeff da Maori, Mack, Brother Ken, Abbo and Wong). BEEZ ON DAZE... Bennett Pomana (Beez) was part of NZ's first hip hop crew, Upper Hutt Posse. He went on to become a member of Dam Native, and following that got a job presenting on Mai Time in 95. He was there for 6 years, then hooked up with a production company called Front of the Box Productions as a presenter / director and producer. These days you can chill out with BEEZ ON DAZE on FLAVA from 10am - 3pm. Dam Native was a New Zealand Hip-Hop group that was prominent during the mid to late 1990s. ...

NICKSON ON THE DRIVE-BY... Stephen Nickson-Clark (Nickson) is the youngest member of the Flava whanau. 1985 was a very special year for many as a 8lb 6 oz boy was destined to take control of your Radios weekdays between 3 -7pm.

Nickson started on the Nightshift as the winner of our Win A Job Bro competition, but was promoted to the DriveBy when Teuila left to pursue her acting dreams.

NITESHIFT... Kaleena (K-Lee) used to host Nites on FLAVA but has recently moved to the States to pursue her fame and fortune. The Nites position is yet to be filled...
