Biography De La V was forced to grow with his father after his mother died of cancer when he was three years old. This caused a deep impact in De La V's life as well as in his father's. De La V, however, felt as a young boy that he wanted to be a girl. Later on, during his teenaged years, De La V, still a he, felt an urge to dress as a woman, and so, at the age of 17, he did it for the first time, dressing up as a girl and using make-up during a family party. De La V made the dress he wore for that party, discovering that he had talent to be a fashion designer.
