Florida State Road 94 is commonly known as North Kendall Drive, or Southwest 88th St. It serves as a primary route in Miami going east and west. Ironically, there is no South Kendall Drive.
State (pop., 2000: 15,982,378), southeastern U.S. Comprising a peninsula and adjoining mainland areas, it is bordered by Alabama and Georgia, with the Gulf of Mexico lying to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.
Florida's SW coast, on the Gulf of Mexico, is dotted with tiny islands, and the Florida Keys, extending south and west from the southern tip of the state, are linked to the mainland by a causeway.
The southeasternmost state of the contiguous United States, bordered by Alabama and Georgia to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east and south, and the Gulf of Mexico and Alabama to the west.
StateRoad94 is commonly known as North Kendall Drive, Kendall Drive, or Southwest 88th Street.
Until a series of truncations throughout the system of StatesRoads by the Florida Department of Transportation, SR 94 extended eastward to SR 959 at the intersection of Kendall Drive and Red Road (Southwest 88th Street and 57th Avenue) in Coral Gables; both StateRoads were cut back to US 1 by 2001.
SR 94 should also not be confused with Loop Road...a roadway which connects to US 41 in two different locations forming a loop in Big Cypress National Preserve.
