Maple Park Footbridge - Warwickshire Web (461 words)
The original idea for the footbridge came about when planning permission was granted to Persimmon Homes to develop the former Sterling Metals Industrial Site in the late 1980s.
The footbridge has been designed to create an open, attractive and safe route for school children, pedestrians and cyclists.
The footbridge is 3.0m wide to cater for combined pedestrian and cycle use, providing a safe and convenient route over the West Coast Main Line, particularly for parents and children from Maple Park walking to the primary schools in Whitestone.
