Founded by the CIA in 1964 to execute the "Virtuous Mission" and, subsequently, "Operation Snake Eater" (both of which are depicted in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater), it is commanded by Major Zero, and is the unit Naked Snake belonged to.
