Formentera Ibiza - IndigoGuide Formentera (518 words)
Formentera spans a mere 85 square kilometres and is mainly flat except for a hilly area at its centre; both of its extremities (Cap de Barbaria and Punta de la Mola) are home to rocky, windswept lighthouses.
Ferries to Formentera depart regularly from Ibiza Town (Eivissa) and San Antonio, which is not really surprising since the island has developed a reputation for being a sort of Rehab Island for those suffering from the excesses of Ibiza.
Formentera has yet to become such a hotel hotspot as its neighbouring island, and is still largely favoured by hippies escaping the commercialism of Ibiza than by holidaymakers.
