Children in kindergarten through fifth grade learn in a stimulating, wholesome and secure environment. The educational program is appropriately structured to allow pupils to learn at a pace consistent with their abilities and needs. Under the guidance of a competent and caring teaching staff, students are encouraged to pursue individual areas of talent and interest.


Programs are taught with an emphasis on establishing a positive attitude toward learning and an understanding and appreciation of other people and cultures. The curriculum provides opportunities to grow intellectually, creatively, emotionally, socially, ethically and physically. Elementary school students are grouped heterogeneously.


Classroom curricular programs are supported by specialized teaching services in reading, art, music, health and physical education. Psychometric, health and social work services are available as needed. Upper Dublin School District operates an enrichment program for children identified as gifted. Programs are also available for students with other exceptionalities.
