With Jackelynn from Fortaleza, we said goodbye at the airport before John boarded the flight to Brasilia.
But then one night as I was walking along Avenida Beira Mar on Meireles beach in the big city of Fortaleza with rain about to start pouring down, someone called me and it was John in his friends car.
This friendly offer by a couple of locals saved us some time, and also the ride was a cool way to get there; the buggy's handle well while tearing through the steep sections of the dunes.
