Fox Kids Weekday Block was a television programming block for children, and later, teens, during the week days. Though popular during the 90's, by the early 21st century Fox Kids became less popular in America. Eventually the American Fox Kids Weekday block was removed, and local or syndicated programs replaced it. Fox Kids was set up just how the WB has it now. The schedule used to show at 7:30 to 8:30, and 3 to 5 PM, 4PM to 5 PM in some areas, then 7 to 8 PM and 3 to 5 PM, and later 8:30-9PM and 2:30-5PM. It was abandoned in 2001. Weekday blocks are now only used by Kids WB, and other cable channels featuring family/children programming.
