Foxy (band) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (188 words)
Foxy is a Latin dance/disco group formed in 1976 in Miami, Florida.
The group consisted of Ish "Angel" Ledesma (vocals, guitar) (born October 5, 1952 in Cuba), Richie Puente (percussion), Charlie Murciano (keyboards), Arnold Pasiero (bass guitar) and Joe Galdo (drums).
Ish Ledesma later formed the groups Oxo in 1983 and Company B in 1986.
Foxy (699 words)
The album, produced by future disco icon Ray Martinez, was very much in-sync with the emerging disco and though quite good, is a little dated.
Rumor had it that disco was dying, and they feared a trip to the unemployment line.
Unfortunately, only Foxy's most hardcore fans bought this album, which is a very good party album even if it isn't quite in a class with their previous two releases.
